Action Performance was founded by Fred Wagenhals and started working with many NASCAR drivers. in 1996 Action created a retail line called Winner’s Circle and eventually bought Revell Racing a few years later. In 2005, Action and Team Caliper were purchased by the NASCAR conglomerate Motorsport Authentics and now runs under the flag of Lionel Racing.
